Currently in open beta, Google Play Games for Windows PCs offers more than 40 Android games
Google has announced that an open beta version of their PC game-playing solution is now accessible.
On a computer running Windows 10 or later, you can play games like Cookie Run Kingdom and Summoners War from Google Play Games. With your Google account logged in, all progress syncs between your Android devices and Windows PCs. The Windows version also benefits from mouse and keyboard capabilities.
Since January of this year, the app has only been available in Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan for testing purposes. The following nations can now access it without any limitations:
- Australia
- Brazil
- Canada
- Indonesia
- Malaysia
- Mexico
- The Philippines
- Singapore
- United States
The software needs Windows 10 in addition to a solid state drive with a minimum of 10 GB of space, 8 GB of RAM, a four (physical) core CPU, and GPU power of Intel UHD Graphics 630 or above.
Google has not specified a deadline for when the open beta will end, but it aims to continue adding games and supported locations "through 2022 and beyond." On play.google.com/googleplaygames, you can find the most recent information as well as the download for Google Play Games.
